Shved Andrei Ivanovich was born on April 21, 1973 in the Lelchitsy district of the Gomel region.

In 1996 he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University majoring in “Jurisprudence”.

From 1996 to 2006 served in the prosecution service – from a trainee, assistant to district prosecutor, prosecutor of a department of the Prosecutor’s office for the city of Minsk, Prosecution Service of the Republic of Belarus to head of various departments of the republican Prosecution Service.
From 2006 to 2010 – Head of the Legal Department of the State Secretariat of the Security Council.

In 2010-2011 – Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus.

In 2012-2013 – First Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus

Since 2013 to 2020 – Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus

He was appointed Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus under Presidential Edict No. 341 of September 9, 2020. The rank of State Counselor of Justice 2nd class is assigned to him.

Doctor of Law, docent.

Awarded the Order of Honor,  the Order of Fatherland 3rd degree,  the Order «For Service to Motherland» 3rd degree.
