Prosecutor General Andrey Shved introduced the new prosecutor of the Vitebsk region Igor Ukrainets

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Shved introduced the new Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region Igor Ukrainets to the personnel. While presenting him a service certificate, the head of the department emphasized: «Igor Vladimirovich has proved himself as a competent, responsible, calm and most importantly - thoughtful person. Over the entire period of his service, he has shown in practice that the prosecutor must abide by the Oath that he took».

The Prosecutor General wished Igor Ukrainets resilience, to act wisely, correctly and fairly.

Igor Vladimirovich was born in 1974.

In 1996 he graduated from the Belarusian State University in major “Jurisprudence”.

He was employed by the prosecutor's office in 1997 as an assistant prosecutor of the Partizansky district of city of Minsk, and then as an investigator, senior investigator of the same prosecutor's office.

In 1999-2002 - prosecutor of the department of the prosecutor's office of the city of Minsk on supervision of the investigation in the prosecutor's office, deputy head of the same department.

From 2002 to 2004 - Deputy Prosecutor of Pervomaisky District of Minsk.

In 2004-2007 - senior assistant of the prosecutor of the city of Minsk for supervision over the implementation of legislation on state security, head of the organizational and control department of the prosecutor’s office of Minsk.

From 2007 to 2018 - prosecutor of Leninsky district of city of Minsk, from 2018 to 2020 – prosecutor of the Moskovsky district of city of Minsk.

In 2020-2021 – Deputy Head of the Department of the Prosecutor General's Office for Supervision over the implementation of legislation by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Deputy Prosecutor of the city of Minsk.

By order of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus from April 8, 2021 No. 265-k, he was appointed to the post of Prosecutor of Vitebsk region.

Awarded with medals "For honorable service " of I, II and III degrees.
